He was surrounded by his wife and family during his final hours. At his request, he passed away in the bed of his grandfather, Luther Jefferson, was born in (1875). Frank was born on July 6, 1926 in Smith County to the union of Alfred and Maggie Duke Waller. He was a proud World War II Army Veteran. After serving 24 months, he returned home safely and soon married the love of his life. He was saved at the age of 26 after attending a revival at East Main Missionary Baptist Church with preacher Brother W.T. Russell.

He placed membership at Knob Springs Missionary Baptist Church in the fall of 1952, where he currently served as a Deacon. Frank has a passion for raising beautiful tobacco crops and he preferred to work his fields with his team of mules, Anna and Lize. He enjoyed his time spent working and meeting friends at Holders Tobacco Warehouse for over 50 years. He also loved to share his fresh garden grown produce with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Birdie Haliburton Waller. Frank is also survived by one sone Ronnie (Brenda) Waller, Lafayette and four daughters; Frankie Waller, Hendersonville; Linda Waller (Wayne) Gregory, Hartsville; Dorris Waller (Rob) Rickman, Gallatin; and Vicki Waller (Jimmy) Throneberry, Murfreesboro. Frank is survived by 10 grandchildren; Angela Waller (Mark) Lewis, Pleasant Shade; Wendy Waller (Wayne) Chaffin, Lafayette; Abby Gregory (Brian) Stanley, Hendersonville; Lorrie Gregory (Nick) Hunter, Gallatin; Rob Rickman Jr., Nashville; Bess Rickman, Murfreesboro; Jin Jr. (Brett) Throneberry, Murfreesboro; Frank Throneberry, Murfreesboro. He also had 14 great grandchildren. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Maggie Waller; his brother, Shelton Waller; and his sister-in-law, Hilda Waller. He is survived by four brothers: Edgar (Frances) Waller, Lebanon; Hershel Waller, Lebanon; Clifton (Shelbie) Waller, Carthage; and sister-in-law, Helen Waller, White House. Pallbearers: Brenda Waller, David Gregory, Wayne Gregory, Rob Rickman, Jimmy Throneberry, Phillip Holder and Stanley Holder. Honorary Pallbearers: Frank’s grandsons, great grandsons, nephews, great nephews, Rick Waller, Jimmy Spivey, Jackie Haliburton, George Highers. Deacons of Knob Sprigs Missionary Baptist Church, Mike Wagoner, Billy Bornfield, Jason Holder, Blake Holder, Chris Holder, J.J. Holder, Stetson Holder, employees of Holders Tobacco Warehouse, the Gene Carman family, Mark Merryman, Benjamin Blake, the Ghrams, descendants of Luther and Hettie Waller andall of the children that Grandma Birdie cared for in their homes. Visitation will be on Friday, April 15 from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. and on Saturday, April 16 from10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Anthony Funeral Home in Hartsville. A funeral service will be on Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Elder Jimmy House officiating. Burial will follow at Hartsville Memorial Gardens.
