Funeral Services for Lela Key Gann were conducted Wednesday afternoon, April 13, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Brother Greg Key officiating. Interment followed in the Smith Chapel Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers were Gary Key, Bob Key, Michael Bandy, Jimmy Bandy, Joseph Lanzo Gann, Bill Key and Leroy Key. Active Pallbearers were Joel Key, Riley Tayes, Jr., Lance Brooks, Jason Brooks, Terry Gann and Robert Key. Lela was born Friday, March 17, 1933 in Putnam County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Amon and Winnie Wilson Key. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Whittaker and brothers, Arliss, Earl, Ernest, Richard, Claude, Haskell and Dallas Key. Lela married Dennie B. Gann, who survives. She was a machine operator for the Mueller Brass Company in Hartsville, Tennessee with 20 years of service. Survivors besides her husband, Dennie B. include: son, Joseph Gann, granddaughter, Tammy Gann all of Lafayette, granddaughter, Carrie Nelson and husband, Tom, Portland, grandson, Joseph Lanzo Gann, Jr., FL, sister, Lucille Ketchum, Detroit, MI, half-sisters and their husbands, Ruth Ann & Ray Tayes, Mt. Juliet, Judy & Dennis Mapheney, Cookeville, Cheryl & Stan Blakey, Clearwater, FL, brother & his wife, Bill & Johnnie Key, Algood, half-brother & his wife, Leroy & Henrietta Key, Gainesboro, 4 great-grandchildren.
