Georgia Creek Butram, 83

Georgia Creek Butram, age 83 of the Winklers Community in Macon County,  TN passed away Sunday morning, May 15, 2011 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, TN.  Funeral Services for Georgia Creek Butram were conducted Tuesday morning, May 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Jimmy Cook officiating.

Interment followed in the Underwood Cemetery.  Larry Butram, Clint Savage, Nick Butram, Leelond Butram, Bobby Butram and Eric Reagan served as pallbearers. Georgia was born October 8, 1927 in Monroe County, Kentucky, one of six siblings born to the late Clay and Nora Ford Creek.  She married Guy Butram in 1947, who preceded her in death on April 18, 1979.  She later married Virgil Austin, who also preceded her in death.  In addition to her husbands and parents, she was also preceded in death by son, Jack Butram, sisters, Ruthie Hudson and Hassie Phillips and brothers, Dessie, Dewey and J.C. Creek.  Georgia was a garment factory worker and a member of the New Liberty General Baptist Church. Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Faye & Ronny Griggs, Gray, GA., sons & daughters-in-law, Bill & Laura Butram, Roy & Patty Butram, Leelond & Jaymie Butram all of the Winklers Community, Bobby Butram, Red Boiling Springs, granddaughters & their husbands, Jackie & Brad Whittemore, Lafayette, Tammy & Brian Jones, Scottsville, KY, Jennifer & Chris Anderson, Augusta, GA, Amanda & Dan Hostetler, Bowling Green, KY, Sandy & Steve Hale, Tompkinsville, KY, Emmalee Butram, Winklers Community, grandsons, Clint Savage, Lafayette, Larry Butram and his wife, Darnell, Winklers Community, 10 great-grandchildren.
