Carlos Eugene Honeycutt, 79

Carlos Eugene Honeycutt, of Lafayette, TN, was born on Wednesday, July 8, 1931, one of two siblings born to the late James Wesley and Maudie Elizabeth Aldridge Honeycutt. He departed this life on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 23 days.

Graveside services for Carlos Honeycutt were conducted on Thursday, June 2, 2011 from Highland Cemetery with Sammy Cornwell officiating. Pallbearers were Hoover Meadows, Isaac McLerran, David Predor, Leonard Young, Scotty Meadors and Brad Meadors. Carlos joined the United States Army as a young man and served his country during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Pleasant Field Full Gospel church and was a self-employed dry wall installer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Honeycutt. He is survived by a son, David Honeycutt of Lafayette, and brothers James Kenneth Honeycutt of Mt. Juliet and Curtis Honeycutt of Murfreesboro.
