Elsie E. Lyle, 90

Elsie E. Lyle was born in Macon County, TN on July 3, 1923 to the late Joseph H. Lyle and Lillie B. Lyle. She was one of three siblings born to this union. Besides her parents, Grandparents Ransom Dillard, Martha Jane Dillard, Marshall Arron Lyle, Manerva Lyle, Brother Bethel Lyle, and Sister Lola B. Parrish also preceded Elsie in death. During her life, Elsie was mainly a homemaker, but did work a short time for Glen Donoho. Elsie was a very independent and intelligent woman who lived a simple life. She was an avid gardener, who would plant flowers anywhere she could. She was also a very committed journal writer, always keeping a journal nearby. Elsie was of the Methodist belief. On March 1, 2013 the Lord called Elsie home. She will be missed by her dear friends and loved ones. Funeral arrangements for Elsie Lyle were conducted on Sunday, March 3, at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Keith Sircy officiating.  Eddie Blankenship, Randy East, Keith Scruggs, Dylan Gann, Phillip Smith, and Charles Bogle served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Haysville Cemetery. Elsie is survived by; a Nephew and Cousins, and many devoted Friends
