Junior High Tigerettes get two wins

The season is underway for the Junior High Tigerette softball team. This week they were able to capture two road wins.

On March 8 the Junior High travelled to Livingston. Four runs in the second, six runs in the third, and four runs in the fourth inning all contributed to a 14-1 win in four innings.

Camryn McConnell went 3 for 4 and scored three runs, Arianna Jones was 2 of 3 scoring two runs and three RBIs, and Sierra Troutt was 2 of 4 and scored one run and had five RBIs. Maysi Patterson threw four innings, giving up three hits and no earned runs. She had five strike-outs.

On the next day, March 9, the squad travelled to Smith County. Again a blitz of runs of four in the first, eight in the second, and two in the third capped off another 14-1 victory.

McConnel went 3 for 3 scoring two runs with one RBI and Anniston Tirjan was 1 of 2 scoring two runs and had three RBIs. Kayli Aulick gave up two hits, one earned run, in three innings in the circle.

This week the team will travel to Clay County on Mar 14th then travel to Westmoreland on Mar 16th.
