Tigerettes face tough week
The Macon County Tigerette softball team fad a tough week. They lost both games they were able to get in.
Due to the weather the game scheduled for Mar 17 against Gordonsville was not played.
Macon then traveled to Trousdale County on Mar 18th. The Lady Yellow Jackets pounded the ball and scored in the first, second, and seventh innings to win by a final of 10-0 over the Tigerettes.
Kayli Aulick was the pitcher of record for Macon and she allowed four hits and four earned runs in one-third of an inning of work. Maysi Patterson went the remaining five and two-thirds of an inning and gave up seven hits and one earned run. Patterson and Emma Farley had the only two hits for the Tigerettes in the game.
Macon would then host Clay County on Saturday Mar 20th. The Lady Bulldogs would also plate a bunch of runs, eight in the seventh inning, and win by a final score of 14-0.
Katie Jo Shockley, Sierra Troutt, Ryleigh Coley, and Camryn McConnell collected the only hits for the Tigerettes. Kaylen Moore threw seven innings and allowed eleven hits and six earned runs in the loss.
This week the Tigerettes are scheduled to host DeKalb County on Mar 24 and travel to White House on Mar 26.
