Eddie Neil Ferguson, age 73 of the Kirbytown Community in Macon County, TN, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 19 ,2026 at Tristar Hendersonville.
Funeral Services for Eddie Neil Ferguson, will be conducted Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Brother Johnathan West & Elder Tyler Eller officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park. Jason Sallee, Steve Herron, Hunter Herron, Corbin Sallee, Randy Carter, Brylee Smith served as pallbearers.
Eddie Neil Ferguson was born April 5, 1952 in Red Boiling Springs, TN, a son born to the late Lucian Myers & Dessie Mae Copass Ferguson and departed this life February 19,2026 at the age of 73 years, 10 months, and 14 days. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by Sisters, Ruby Deckard, Blanche Hix, Delpha Holland, Brothers, Fred, Kenneth, Jesse, Harold, and Elder Floyd Ferguson, Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, Lowell & Betty Smith.
Eddie Neil served as a Master Trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol for 32 years, dedicating his career to protecting and serving the people of Tennessee.
