John Johns

Mr. John W. Johns passed peacefully from this life on March 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was seventy-two years, seven months, and twenty-two days old – a life marked by devotion, quiet strength, and deep love for those around him.

John was born on August 19, 1953, to the late Andrew Jackson Johns and Winnie Beatrice Brooks Johns, who instilled in him the values of hard work, faith, and family that would guide him throughout his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved siblings, Jimmy Johns, Joe Johns, William Johns, and Dolly Johns. Though he missed them dearly, we take comfort in knowing they are reunited once again.

On October 3, 1986, John married the love of his life, Teresa Fran Mosley. Together, they shared nearly forty years of unwavering love, laughter, and companionship. Their
marriage was a testament to commitment, partnership, and enduring devotion.

John dedicated many years of his life to his work as a machine operator at Peterson Tool in Nashville, retiring in 2012. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and the pride he took in providing for his family. A faithful member of the Red Boiling Springs Church of Christ, John found joy and purpose in his faith. He cherished attending church, where he built meaningful friendships and nurtured his spiritual life. John enjoyed the simple pleasures – especially trips to the beach and time spent with loved ones – but above all, he treasured his family. They were the center of his world, and his greatest joy was being surrounded by those he loved. He will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and the quiet way he showed love through his actions every day. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he cherished so deeply.
