Benny Carlisle

Benny Neal Carlisle, age 66 of the Hermitage Springs Community in Clay County, TN passed away Tuesday morning, March 24, 2026 at his residence.

Graveside Memorial Services & Interment for Benny Neal Carlisle were conducted Thursday afternoon, April 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the Pedigo Cemetery with Family officiating.

Benny Neal Carlisle was born March 22, 1960 in Monroe County, Kentucky, a son born to Lucille Pedigo Carlisle of the Hermitage Springs Community and the late Alvin Ray “Buddy” Carlisle. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by brother-in- law, Ricky Baskett; maternal grandparents, Poza & Melvina Pedigo & paternal grandparents, Paul & Buel Carlisle. Benny was a housing inspector for many years.

Survivors besides his mother, Lucille include: sisters, Terri Mai Baskett & companion, Todd Wheeler of Gamaliel, KY, Vickie Hume & husband, Ricky of Red Boiling Springs; brother, Tommy Dean Carlisle of Akersville, KY; nephews, Codey & Dustin Baskett; nieces, Lindsay & Tracy Hume; great-nephews, Emmitt & Reed Baskett.
