Betty Moore

Betty Driver Moore, age 86 of Lafayette, TN passed away Thursday morning, April 9, 2026 at Macon Community Hospital in Lafayette.

Funeral Services for Betty Driver Moore will be conducted Sunday afternoon, April 12, 2026 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Lonnie Meador officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park. Connor Ladd & Colton Ladd served as honorary pallbearers. Chris Winslett, Owen Ladd, Dylan Slayton, Caleb Winslett, Ricky Carter, Jimmy Dallas served as pallbearers.

Betty Driver Moore was born November 24, 1939 in Scottsville, KY, a daughter born to the late Jesse Willard & Ocie Carter Brawner and departed this life April 9, 2026 at the age of 86 years, 4 month, and 16 days. Betty married the love of her life, Lewis Driver, on December 17, 1955. They shared more than 37 wonderful years together before his passing on January 12, 1993.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Donnie Steen. Betty worked as an assembly worker for over 22 years at GE in Scottsville. She was a devoted member of Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed watching soap operas and crocheting, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Survivors include: Daughters, Rita Driver, Wanetta Dallas & husband, Jimmy, Granddaughters, Bridget Winslett & husband, Chris, all of Lafayette, Tracy Ladd & husband, Owen, of Portland, 6 Great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Dylan, Brittany, Caleb, Connor, Colton, 3 Great-great-grandchildren, Briley, Brayden & Sapphire.
