Funeral Services for Doyle Sutton were conducted Wednesday afternoon, February 23, 2011 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with E.C. Meadows officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Honorary Pallbearers were Grandsons & Grandsons-in-Law, Roy & Charlene Rice, Bobby & Agnes Bush, Alvin & Ann Allen, Charles & Fay Spurlock, Flaudie Thomas, Jerry Wilson, Paul & Teresa Copas and member of the Bakerton Church of Christ.  Active Pallbearers were Travis Thomas, Roger Clark, J. W. Greanad, Larry Copas, Kevin Dotson, Brent Dotson, Bobby Beasley and Kevin Driver. Doyle Sutton was born Wednesday, April 12, 1933 in Macon County, TN, one of four siblings born to the late William Fisher and Osha Halliburton Sutton. On December 27, 1952, he married the former Dimple Hudson, who preceded him in death on July 14, 2009. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline Sutton, Etheline Copas and Orlene Wilson and son-in-law, Jimmy Neal Roark. He was a farmer, laborer for W. O. Construction in Cookeville for many years and a member of the Bakerton Church of Christ. Survivors include: daughter, Rebecca Roark, sons & daughters-in-law, Joe & Patsy Sutton, David “Pete” & Beverly Sutton, Charles & Annettia Sutton, grandchildren, Taylor Sutton, Tatelin Sutton, Kenethia Gentry, Stacey Jones, Brandi Pilpott, Leslie Massengille, Amanda Likens, Kelly Jones, Mark Newberry and Donnie Crawford, 17 great-grandchildren.
