Funeral services for Junior Sullivan were conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend David Simmons and Brother Ricky Vance officiating. Jason Todd, Randy Perry, Jeff Duncan, Joe Boren, Darryl Hill, and Joey Hill served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Shrum Cemetery.

Junior was born in Macon County, Tennessee on May 12, 1939 to the late Forrest and Annie Elizabeth Wiseman Sullivan. He was born one of two children to this union. Besides his parents; a sister, Hazel Calbert, and a granddaughter, Savannah Sullivan, also preceded him in death. Junior was married to the mother of his children, Helen Wix Huffines for a time, they shared three children. He worked as a Dairy Farmer most his life; raising his children on the farm and teaching them the values of life. He later started driving a truck and worked in a factory for a time. Junior’s family was his life; he cherished them all and enjoyed very minute spent with them. Showing his Walking horse “Star” was a big hobby that Junior enjoyed. He loved to socialize; being around people shooting the breeze was his past time. Junior liked to go to Peggy’s Market and The Corner Café to play cards with his friends. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Junior will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by; sons, Jeffery (Betsy) Sullivan of Hartsville, TN, Eric Sullivan and Jennifer Ray of Dixon Springs, TN, daughter, Tina (Bruce) Dyer of Lafayette, TN, grandchildren, Shay and Chris Stevens of Gallatin, TN, Wendy Sullivan of Scottsville, KY, A. J. Dyer of Lafayette, TN, 6 great grandchildren, Tyson, Audrey, Addison, Brody, Vincent, and Destiny, mother of his children, Helen Huffines, 3 step-grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren also survive.
