Middle TN Christian Beats Bulldogs
Middle Tennessee Christian beats the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs 28-7.
RBS got on the board first. Logan Hewitt rushed for a Bulldog touchdown to make the score 7-0 at first of the game. The first quarter would end in a score of 7-7. Middle would come back and score an early 2nd quarter touchdown, putting the score at 14-7 with 2:20 left to go in the half. The half would end with the Bulldogs marching.
The 3rd quarter would start off with Middle getting the ball but the dogs defense would get an interception by Elijah Byfield and give the Dogs the ball back on the 39 yd line. The RBS defense would play a great game but just seemed to run out of gas. The 3rd quarter ended with RBS trailing 14-7. After trading possessions in the 4th Middle would score to make the score 21-7 with 4:47 left to go. The Dogs would get the ball back on the 35 yd line but just couldn’t mount a drive. Middle would add a late touchdown at the end of the game to make the final score MTC 28 RBS 7.
The Bulldogs will be away next week at Pickett County in search of their first win of the season against a region opponent. Come out and support your Bulldogs.
