Red Boiling Springs started their district schedule with a trip to Goodpasture last Tuesday night.

The Macon County Tigers won a nail biter at Upperman this past week, in the battle for the top spot in District 8AA.

This week the Tigerettes would drop their first two games while the Tigers remain undefeated.

You could not have asked for a more exciting girls basketball game than the one played last Saturday night as the Smith County Lady Owls won a very hard fought game in overtime over the Lady Bulldogs by a final score of 62-57.

Players from the 2016 MCHS Football team were recently announced for the All-Region 5-4A team.

The basketball teams at Macon County High School opened region play this past Friday night.

The Macon County Junior High basketball teams were able to notch two thrilling victories over Christiana on Thursday November 10th.

The Macon County High Tigers ended their season with their best record since 2003 at 9-3.
