The Macon County Junior High School Tigers and Tigerettes won the Cumberland Rim Conference Tournament on Saturday. The boys from Jim B. Satterfield Middle in Hartsville and the girls from Westmoreland finished second.
Red Boiling Springs High School basketball teams took on the Friendship Christian Commanders last Tuesday night. One team played one of their better games of the year and one got steamrolled.
Macon County High runs it record to 3-0 in district play for both their boys and girls teams. This week they picked up victories over Greenbrier and Sycamore.
The MCHS Tigers and Tigerettes traveled to Clay County this past Friday to take on the Bulldogs. The Tigerettes grabbed a win and the Tigers dropped another to Celina.
