Macon County played in the preseason Hall of Fame Games this past week with mixed results. They hosted Livingston on Tuesday the 13th and traveled to Jackson County on Friday the 16th.
Macon County Junior High fared well this week against close rivals RBS and Jim B. Sattererfield Middle. The Junior Tigers and Tigerettes won both contests.

The Macon County Junior High Tigers opened their basketball season this week. They split a pair of games at home against Trousdale County and Mt. Juliet.
The Macon County Ladies Cross Country Team competed in the State Cross Country Meet held Saturday November 3rd at Percy Warner Park in Nashville. The team finished as State A-AA Runner Up.
On October 26th the Bulldogs concluded their season as they traveled down to the “Creek Bank” to take on the Yellow Jackets of Trousdale County.
The Macon County High School Tigers hosted the Westmoreland Eagles for the final game of the season.
The Macon County Girls Cross Country team placed 1st in the TSSAA Region 5, A-AA Championship meet held Thursday at Percy Warner Park’s Steeplechase Course.
The Boys and Girls golf teams at Macon County High School had a great showing at the state A-AA tournament this week. The Boys team captured a state title and the Girls team finished runner-up in the event.
On Friday October 12th the Bulldogs of Red Boiling Springs traveled down the road to their nearby opponent, the Blue Devils of Jackson County High School.
