Just about everyone loves breakfast. The Macon County Football Booster Club held its annual ham breakfast this past Saturday, March 10th, 2012. It was the sixteenth year for the fundraiser, held to raise money for the football program at Macon County High School.

On Feb 20th, the Macon County Tigerettes defeated Westmoreland to capture the District 9AA Tournament Title. They went on to host the first round of the Region 5AA at home.

Lady Bulldogs Finish 3rd

The Red Boiling Springs Lady Bulldogs would take on Watertown girls for third place in the district tournament last Monday night and in a very hard fought game were to pull away in the fourth quarter for a 48-35 victory that was a lot closer than the score indicates.

Both the Macon County Junior High Boys and Girls teams lost this past week in the semi-finals of the TNT State Middle School Tournament. Both Macon teams provided fans with some great basketball and a memorable season.

The Trousdale County Yellow Jackets had just lost to the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs last week on the Bulldogs’ court in their final regular season game and the Yellow Jackets looked bad for losing that game.
