The Tigerettes of Macon County had a very busy week this past week. They played three regular season games and then competed in the Play-It-Again Tournament in Clarksville, TN over the Easter weekend.
The MCHS Girls Softball team had a tough week. The ladies dropped five games and lost their first district contest.
The Red Boiling Springs Lady Bulldogs softball team have been playing some pretty good teams that make up the toughest part of their schedule but the Smith County Lady Owls turned the Dog Pound into their home playing field with a 14-2 defeat of the Lady Bulldogs.
The Yellow Jackets prevented the Tigers from completing a perfect week as Coach Juan Clariday and his Tiger team began District 9AA play. MCHS played Westmoreland on Monday and Tuesday, Smith Co. on Thursday, and Trousdale Co. on Friday.
The Macon County Boys soccer team evened their record at 2 wins and 2 losses this week.
The Macon County Tiger Baseball team traveled to Lebanon this past week.
The Red Boiling Springs Lady Bulldogs got the right combination of timely hitting and outstanding pitching to win their first game of the season in a very exciting game as they defeated Community High School by a score of 3-2.
The MCHS Softball team is off to a great 2012 Season. The Tigerettes are off to a fast start, and picked up two more wins this past week.
Don’t let anyone ever tell you that hard work and determination don’t pay off. For MCHS Senior Calamity Jane Coley, she is going to get to benefit from some of her blood, sweat, and tears.
