The Macon County High School Baseball team didn’t finish the season as strong as they had hoped.
The Macon County Track Team recently competed in the Buster Relays in Nashville. Teams from all over the mid-state competed in this event.
Coach Monica Braswell and the Tigerettes from Macon County split two important District 9AA contests this week. They entered the week sporting a record of 16 wins and 12 losses.
Macon County High School Baseball now boasts an 11-12 record after this week’s games. The Tigers dropped two District 9AA games to first place Goodpasture Christian and lost a heartbreaker to DeKalb County before closing the week with a win at Red Boiling Springs.
The Red Boiling Springs Lady Bulldog softball team knew they had their hands full when the Lady Tigerettes from Gordonsville are the opponent as was the case last Tuesday night.
The Macon County High School Baseball team has hit a road-bump mid way through the season. This past week they dropped two crucial district contests dropping them into a tie for third in District 9AA. They also managed to pick up two non-district wins.
The Macon County High School Soccer team had a tough week mid way through the season. This past week they dropped a crucial district contest and three other matches.
The MCHS Softball team competed in four more tough games this past week. The Tigerettes collected wins over Portland, White House, and Clay County. Their only loss came to District 9AA rival Goodpasture.
The MCHS Tiger Baseball finds themselves in 3rd place in District 9AA at the midpoint of the season. They have a 2-2 record in district play, losing two this week, and have an 8 and 7 record overall.
On April 3rd the MCHS Track team went to Eagleville to compete in the Mid-Tennessee Championship. The girl’s team won the event with a great showing from all the team members.
