By: Wally Etheridge In a game that the Bulldogs really needed to get a win they played just well enough against The Webb School to bring home a very hard fought win by a score of 56 to 49.
By Mark Darnell The Macon Co. Tigers faced Hume Fogg and Goodpasture this week. Macon picked up both wins improving their record to 16-6 (5-0) for the season.
By Wally Etheridge Red Boiling Springs played one of their better games of the season and held the lead up until four minutes were left in the game when the Eagles took a lead of 39-38 and they finished off the Bulldogs going away 48-44.
By Mark Darnell The MCHS Tigers played three more games this week. Two of them were District 9 AA contests.

By Mark Darnell The Tigerettes of Macon County remain unbeaten and in first place in District 9-AA. They faced district foes Westmoreland and White House this week as well as the Green Wave of Gallatin.
By Wally Etheridge Last Saturday night the Westmoreland Lady eagles made the short trip over to Red Boiling Springs to take on the Lady Bulldogs having suffered a loss the previous night to the Lady Tigerettes and the Lady Bulldogs had high hopes of pulling off the upset.
By Mark Darnell On Tuesday January 10th Macon County High School hosted Greenbrier. The Bobcats are facing the Tigers in District 9 AA for the first time this season.
By Mark Darnell The Greenbrier Bobcats came calling last Tuesday evening. The contest marked the first District 9 AA home game of the 2011-2012 season.
By Mark Darnell Following the Christmas break, basketball teams from MCHS begin their District 9 AA push. This past week they faced Trousdale County and District rival Goodpasture.
