Macon County Junior High has won two state championships in basketball this past week.

The Macon County High School Tigers and Tigerettes were in action as they enter the next to the last week of the regular season.

Randy Carnahan, an alumnus of Clay County High School, was inducted into the Clay County Sports Hall of Fame during the annual ceremony on January 17, 2015. 

Macon County is moving toward the conclusion of the 2014-2015 high school basketball seasons.

The Red Boiling Springs Lady Bulldogs shocked everyone in district 7A by going on the road and beating the Watertown Lady Tigers by a final score of 46-40.

Teams from Macon County Junior High captured the Cumberland Rim Conference Championships this past Saturday.

This week Macon County Basketball lost ground in TSSAA District 8AA.

This past Saturday night was Senior night for Red Boiling Springs as the Bulldogs welcomed Jackson County to the Dog Pound. 

Goodpasture High School made their annual visit to the Dog Pound for a district 7A contest with Red Boiling Springs and the Lady Cougars lost to the Lady Bulldogs 52-23.

The Macon County High School basketball programs have started the New Year off right.
