The 2014 basketball season is underway at Macon County High School.

Red Boiling Springs got their basketball season underway last Tuesday night with the Boys and Girls claiming victories over different teams.

The first meeting of the basketball season between local junior high teams occurred this Monday night in Lafayette.

The year was 1973 when a group of concerned citizens from Red Boiling Springs decided to start the process of having a high school football program.

The Macon County Tigers fall to the DeKalb County Tigers by a final score of 42-7.

The Macon County High School Tigerettes volleyball team advanced to play Red Bank in the sectionals for a berth in the state tournament.

Four new members were inducted into the Red Boiling Springs Football Hall of Fame last Friday October 10th in Red Boiling Springs.
